Dear Parents,
We have reached the end of the first term and we are grateful that the past three months have been good
to us. It was so nice to welcome all of our old Kabouters back and also to gain a few new friends! As usual
there were some tears in the beginning of the year, but the children have now settled in well into their
new classes and routines. You can be very proud of them!
We’re looking forward to all the excitement in the second term….we are kicking the term off with our
annual Bazaar on Friday, 8 April. This is going to be our first proper Bazaar since the start of
Covid-19! There will be entertainment for the kids, games to play where you can win a prize and a lot of
nice treats and gifts to buy! Remember to send / bring your food, ride pass and Kabouter money orders
back to us by Friday, 1 April. Communication regarding this went out on 15 March on the Kriyo app’s
Notice Board. You can just go back to that date to find the form if you still want to put your order
through.
At the end of the first term, the children will receive a general term letter from each of their respective
classes, which will include a short comment regarding your child’s adjustment in his / her new class and the
progress made thus far. A formal evaluation will be done at the end of the second term after which the
children will receive a full progress report.
Thank you to everyone who have completed their extra-mural activity registration forms and made
payment for the first term. There are still a number of forms and payments outstanding. Unfortunately,
children with outstanding forms / payments will not be able to take part in the activities from the start of
the second term. If you would like to make and arrangement regarding this matter, you can contact the
coaches directly. The numbers have been attached below.

It was an exciting term with a lot of fun activities that went on at school. The teachers put in a lot of effort
to make the activities they do and the learning process fun for the children. There was “dress as a family
member” day, we learned about our 5 senses, how to care for our planet and made a lot of music and sang
songs! On the other side, we also worked hard in order for all the children to reach their milestones.
All the children have received their envelopes with a sample of their individual photo’s. You can order
photos until Wednesday, 13 April.
Please note: Kabouterland is closed on 15 & 18 (Easter) and 27 April (Public holiday), 2 May (Public
holiday), as well as 16 (Public holiday) and 17 June (School holiday).
The second term starts Tuesday, 5 April and ends Friday, 24 June.
For those of you who are going on holiday, enjoy and drive safely!
Friendly regards,
Kabouter Office
Liewe ouers,
kinders het so mooi aangepas by hulle nuwe klasse en roetines.

Vriendelike groete,
Kabouter Kantoor
